Gili Ketapang : Beautiful Hidden Place of Probolinggo

Gili Ketapang Island is a small island located between the islands of Java and Madura. The island is located 5 miles in the middle of the sea from the Port of Tanjung Tembaga Probolinggo. Unfortunately for now there is no connecting bridge connecting the two islands. In addition, there are still no passenger ships operating in the area. However, if tourists want to visit the island, tourists can use a small motor boat to get there. The number of motorboats is still very limited. The area of Gili Ketapang is around 68 ha, most of the inhabitants are descendants of Madurese who live as fishermen. The origin of this island is inseparable from the myth of the people who say that the island can move to the middle of the sea. The island was originally located on the same land as the mainland in the village of Ketapang.
